About Dr. Clark

Dr. Francis J. Clark is a highly esteemed board-certified ophthalmologist and eye surgeon. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Clark provides individualized and compassionate care to his patients. As a magna cum laude graduate from St. Joseph's University and a recipient of high honors in ophthalmology from Wills Eye Hospital, he pursued his medical education at Jefferson Medical College. Dr. Clark further honed his skills through ophthalmology training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

In addition to his proficiency in general ophthalmology, Dr. Clark has a special interest in LASIK refractive surgery and advanced cataract technologies. Actively involved in refractive surgery since the early 1990s, he brings a wealth of experience to procedures like small-incision, no-needle, no-stitch cataract surgery, femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery, glaucoma management, and LASIK refractive surgery.

Operating in multiple locations, including Wills Eye Bucks Surgery Center, Abington Surgical Center, and Surgery Center in Limerick, Dr. Clark is also on staff at Abington Hospital. He is a proud member of various professional organizations, such as the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), the American Medical Association (AMA), and the Greater Philadelphia Eye Care Centers of Excellence.
